Topic 1: Hypersensitivity (ear)
Hello to all the aspies and not aspies out there.

Today I will try to explain to what extent I am hypersensitive in the sense of hearing.

I consider myself definitely very sensitive about it, I think that this sense would be my second most alert, after the sense of touch.

I hate the sound of people chewing
Constant noises like hammers or voices irritate me
I do not like people who talk too much
Glasses or spoons against glasses, loud sounds of metals.
In the morning my sense of hearing is more irritable
Dogs licking
I always sleep with earplugs.
I like music and audiobooks but they must be in a moderate volume.
People coughing
People with snots … “Why can not you just blow out your nose?
Whispers
ambulances or sirens
I can go to concerts if I can rest my ears for a few minutes with plugs.
phones
In general I try to keep a lot of hygiene in my ears since many times during the day I will be removing and putting plugs, I do not know specifically on what occasions I will be using them but it has to do with moments in which I hear people talking, or loud music ( my neighbors are hateful sometimes) etc.

At lunchtime I have to turn on the radio or something so I do not hear other people chew their food, I can not stand listening to myself and eating and chewing, swallowing or drinking.

I would like sometimes to be able to annul this sense in order to feel less tormented. If you feel identified with this article or have learned to control it, I would very much like to know in the comments.

Kisses, Lorien.
